POLLINGTON’S STORY
Claude Pollington purchased his first machines and launched his own business out of his Farwell, Michigan garage.
He relocates to Marion, Michigan where he expands in size and builds a team of machinists.
Pollington Machine Tool secures a major automotive contract and expands once more.
Company growth continues with the purchase of it’s first CNC machine and expansion into the Military industry.
Entered the Recreation industry with compound bows, secured a major Military customer, and purchased our first vertical long bed CNC.
Moved into Aerospace, improved Quality Control with a CMM, and doubled the manufacturing facility size.
Acquired Plants 2 and 3, expanding Fabrication and Assembly capabilities; enhanced Quality with three CMMs and an optical comparator; added advanced machinery; attained AS9100 certification; sustaining continuous growth.
